Based in the heart of Kirkby, the Me2u Centre is a place where people living with dementia can feel at home in a safe and stimulating environment. Offering opportunities for social prescribing, we’re a community-based, person-centred service.
We provide respite care and companionship from just an hour or two or throughout the day, as required. Visitors to our centre will receive breakfast and lunch as well as drinks and snacks.
There is an onsite hairdresser or barber, a cinema room, and private consultation rooms for health visitors and a wet room. We also offer a wide-range of activities including gardening and flower arranging, art and craft, board games and singalongs.
Carers can take advantage of our holistic therapy sessions and carer support groups as well as expert advice dementia care and diagnoses. In addition, we’re CQC-registered to provide domiciliary care to those above and below 65 years.
