After the amazing reception of our dream, the Me2U Centre, we will soon be able to extend our opening hours to four days a week.

With the support of our community and our wonderful clients who keep coming back, we are delighted to open for business on Fridays 8am – 6pm in addition to our existing days: Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Our first Friday will be 8th June, so we look forward to welcoming our fantastic clients to join us for our medley of stimulating activities including knitting, music, reminiscing activities and games.

Me2U began life with a bang in March and two months down the line, our dementia day care centre is busier and growing every day.

Our hearts have been touched by the fundraising efforts of our friends the Eldonians and the donations from strangers on Just Giving. Because of these kind souls we have been able to put down our non-slip floor, buy necessary equipment for activities and furnish our salon.

The hard work isn’t over yet. Soon we hope to put down roots in our sensory garden and allotment, which will include a dementia-friendly never-ending path with high rise flowerbeds and a golf putting area. It is also our wish to get a minibus to help as many people living with dementia as possible to access our centre.

We would like to offer our heartfelt gratitude to those who have helped Me2U Centre arrive at this point, and we count on your continued support to improve the centre facilities even further.

We have an exciting few months ahead which we can’t wait to share with you – You won’t find us sitting still! Let’s just say we are travelling abroad to find out what world experts have to say on dementia care and will be bringing our new ideas back home to share with our clients, so stay tuned.
