Me2U Centre invites clients and their family members to join us for a special event on Thursday 24th May as part of Dementia Action Week.

The week, which was created by Alzheimer’s Society, is calling on everyone in communities nationwide to do something small to help someone out who is facing dementia.

The society wants to be a catalyst in turning Britain into a dementia-friendly place so that patients of the disease don’t have to hide away and be all alone.

The Me2U Centre’s mission is to enable people to live independently as long as they can and experience quality of life at all stages of the disease. What’s more, we want carers to know their loved ones are in a safe environment, in case they need to take some time away from caring duties for a short while.

That’s why we decided to put on this event so we can do our bit to establish a dementia-friendly Britain.

Once again, we have been blessed, as this event has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from friends of the Me2U Centre.

The event will consist of music and entertainment by Mick Moon, as well as food and refreshments.

So come along, let your hair down and get your dancing shoes on!
