It’s been a crazy month for the Me2U Centre with media appearances on our beloved Radio Merseyside and yesterday on Liverpool Local TV.

We’re very excited to spread the word about what we are doing as we are passionate that people with dementia and their carers deserve better.

7 Day Opening

That’s why we’ve decided to open up from 8-6pm every day from September.

This will give carers even more flexibility over their time, knowing their loved one will be in good hands.

I also wanted to draw your attention to a couple of important events.

Just Giving

We’re soon to be launching a Just Giving campaign to help fund our six-bed dementia sleeping area, which will be dementia-friendly in design. This will mean we can arrange night-time respite provision if you’re going on holiday or need some time off to have an operation or just want some R & R. 2 beds out of the four will be reserved for crisis prevention. You will be able to donate soon to our Just Giving page. Watch this space.

Dates for your diary

Coffee & Cake

Next Saturday 7th September, we invite all our friends and clients to a coffee and cake afternoon. This will be accompanied by music – Singer to be announced soon. Hot drinks will be 50p and cake is £1.

The Big Legends Show

We strongly encourage you to show support the Eldonians, who have supported us many times in the run-up to launching the Me2U Centre and afterwards with their sterling fundraising efforts. Please let your friends and family know about the Big Legends Show, which is taking place Friday 13th September from 7pm. The show features some familiar faces including Robbie Williams and George Michael, plus Rockin’ Mike Burn and the Fabulous Rockers. The evening will include a raffle for Me2U Centre. Tickets are a steal at just £10. Call Rose on 07748 317 334 to reserve your place.
